The magic of fairies and a studio update!

The pouty fairy girls made it in the new upcoming issue of Somerset Life! I just can't say it enough, and not just because I have artwork in it, but this publication is absolutely breathtaking!!! It's constantly so chock full of inspiration and ideas ~ What a true honor to have my fairy girls included. This spring issue should hit the newstands April 1st.....you will not be disappointed!!!

Just a glimpse of the beauty inside this issue:

Now, I hope this doesn't burn your eyeballs by seeing this mess but I'm still in the thick of moving in and really don't want to place the smalls until I've unloaded all of the furniture and have it moved to where it will stay. But I'm taking you along for the journey so you might as well see how things are going!

I have a catch in my side and am limping all over the place but I'm pressing on as I want to see it finished and begin to create!! I've come across so much cool stuff that has been buried and I'm getting that creative burn that you get when you know you must make something ~

Thank you so much for cheering me on ~ I just love you all!!

Emily goes to the doctor this morning so think good thoughts that Clara is getting ready to show her beautiful face!!! Friday is the due date ~

Have a wonderful Tuesday dear friends & Happy St. Patrick's Day!
xxoo, Dawn

Thanks for the hint about Somerset Life. It's kind of a good thing that so many of my decor magazines are closing down because I've recently become addicted to this one. And it's EXPENSIVE! How fabulous that your fairies are in it. Now I HAVE to buy it. ;-) Looks like you're having fun setting up your studio. I'm thinking that a refrigerator is always a good thing to have close by. ;-)

Congratulations on your article Miz Dawn, they did a wonderful job showing your sweetie jars. This is a great issue, my favorite of all their publications.
Clara will be her sooooo soon, are you ready! I am excited for you to hold her and just fall apart in love. The studio will just have to wait when she gets here. But look! The studio is coming along. The momma bird just keeps placeing a twig at a time, a twig at a time, and before you know it, the nest is ready for creation. Take care of your body too, rest well, everything is falling the way it is supposed to.
Love ya Mamma Bird
Marcie

Your modesty is sweet, but Dawn you are a true artist and I am so happy that you share your talents with the rest of us. I am anxious to see the magazine !! Gosh that time seems to have gone fast (maybe not for Emily-) that baby Clara will be making her entrance - can't wait to meet her. The new studio is shaping up wonderfully! XO, Judy

I am so jealous of your new work space. I have at least 4 years before anyone moves out and the younger boys are already lining up for his room. LOL

simply gorgeous- I may have to go buy that issue! Love your new space. I can't really do much in mine, plus we're trying to move, so lots of stuff will have to be put away. SIGH... Fingers crossed for a safe delivery. My first was 2 days overdue, and my water broke spontaneously. I hope they let your DIL go a little longer. xoxo

Dawn,
I know this seems to be a daunting task but the end result will be well worth effort! I spent all day yesterday going through almost every container of my supplies, evaluating, separating, and organizing and I am overwhelmed at the mess I made just doing this. I could not imagine if I were to have to move it all! I can't wait to see your finished space.

I do so hope little Miss Clara is ready for her grand entrance! Our prayers are with mother and child.

Congratulations on your fairies being in Somerset Life, what an exciting week for you. The room is oming right along every day. Ane it helps to have something to do while you wait for Baby Clara to appear.
When our little Hazel was born, I was there. It was 4:30am and Mommy and Daddy had worn themselves out and were asleep. I sat in the rocker and held her, it was the sweetest experience, just her and I. Hope yours is as wonderful.

Every day is bringing Clara's arrival closer...keeping good thoughts going for you all. It's good that you have such a big project at this time to keep you occupied.

Congrats on the magazine article! That you've made it once again is no surprise. Those little fairies in a jar are a delight!

Dawn . Great progress -- I tell my self that-- tackle one corner at a time -- OF course I am so excited about your fairy jars --
especially as I look at mine that you made when you had your shop several years ago --IT seems that beautiful art is timeless -- YOurs speaks to us of beauty and delicacy and joy !! Sweet baby will be here soon - My two grandchildren are so precious --as yours will be to you --The delights of our hearts and eyes !
I love the phrase -- Having children is choosing to have your heart walking around outside your body -- It is so true and when your own babies -- grow up and have babies - your heart almost
melts with the feelings -
Sun is shining the flowers are
blooming - Just the perfect day after the rain - Blessings Kathy -ga
